Having entered our first ever award with our new Bloody Mary, we’re very excited to share that it picked up Gold (!) at this year's IWSC awards.
We knew we were onto something special, and the judges agreed, describing the drink as having “Crisp aromas of celery with a dusting of black pepper notes, leading to a vibrant palate of tomato and balanced spice. The palate is bold and pleasingly chunky. A hearty and authentic example”.
Scoring a massive 95/100 (the best-rated Bloody Mary, internationally!), this is a great moment for us and we have to thank everyone on the team for their hard work. Special thanks go to our collaborators on this, The Pickle House — the quality of the cocktail no doubt relies on their fantastic Spiced Tomato Mix, grown and produced here in Suffolk. We must also mention Sapling, whose vodka was the perfect accompaniment.
